Together with ZeroCO2, Bonzai continues to support the reforestation project in Guatemala: an initiative that, in just a few years, has transformed arid land into lush forests. Still, the change is not only landscape-related.
Today, thanks to crops grown among the trees, such as corn, cocoa and wood from energy forests, local communities have been able to purchase new land, pay off debts to the state and construct community buildings.
